The phone company came to JET's place this morning and in 45 minutes he had service back. How much money? None - they said it was a "service call". They also said the lady on the phone with me was nuts. We were digging on OUR property and that was the difference... said she didn't bother to clarify that or ask. Right.I have been flipping bed stuff around. Have gotten so many excellent buys on Ralph Lauren stuff from TJ, Home*goods, Mar*shall's thru the past several years, and last night decided to put them all together on my bed (because I buy from the same line so it has all coordinated). Looks fabulous in this cottage and there is now another different set of RL for the guest room. I'm set...

I painted this afternoon.... the hunter green bookcase back in the 3rd bedroom and put white on there.... actually started last night. It was a NIGHTmare getting white paint on that green bookcase - but it is now built in to the end of the window seat as part of that nautical thing we're doing.... Anyway... I got one coat on there.... looked hideous. As I was climbing into bed, I thought about spray painting the second and third coats.... I did it and it worked beautifully... it now has such an evenness about it....
Spent the later afternoon working in the Spring House some... dusting, and seeing what I need to take up there to set up for Debbie, Jim and Mom this weekend. Debbie and Jim will stay up there. I really LIKE that place. It is a simple, clean and cute place for someone to stay. I have plans for it, but don't have time to do them at the moment.
Talked with Charles - all is well over there. Ty called me at 10:15 and we talked for over an hour.
I am pooped and going to bed.
