This week has gotten off to a quick and busy start. Jonathan is having a bathroom problem at his place so his dad decided that we just needed to pull everything out of there and re-do it all. It took one entire day - Monday - to get it all out. They were gone nearly the entire day today to get supplies.Now they've gotta put the new shower stall and new commode in - after the new floor covering (since the layout of the bathroom has changed)... WHAT A MESS! We had not planned to begin work on Jonathan's place yet but had to....we will begin in the next several months, to make changes and redo the entire place.
Tonight Jonathan picked up Joann and brought her to the house for supper. I fixed a store bought doctored up Lasagna (the only kind we do anymore), and trimmings along with blackberry cobbler and ice cream. They arrived around 6:30 and we ate around 6:45 - then enjoyed talking the rest of the evening. They finally wore Charles and me OUT and we retreated to the den. They left our house around 10:30. Next time she comes down we asked her to bring her violin... she has 3.... her instrument of choice in her degree in music.... School starts for her on the 18th.
Tired and going to bed....The guys continue on the bathroom tomorrow.... JET has to be at work after lunch tomorrow and there is a LOT to be done. I plan to work in the bedroom/office.
Has rained on and off all afternoon and evening. I had just gotten my good cushions dried out... and now they're wet again. Will I ever learn?
