Tonight, he decided to turn the water off, cut a water pipe, and add a spigot to drain the pipes
I LOVE winter.... but I do not like extremely cold temperatures. Verle, I don't guess I'd survive it "up there" where you live! Please stay IN.... I say that to my Mother, too.
The counter top people came in like a storm today right before lunch. They worked like bees for about 2.5 hours and behold - the counter tops and new sink and faucet are IN. Totally changes the kitchen as we knew it would, but we didn't know it would look as good as it looks. It ought to. (!) I picked up the piece of granite left over from where they sawed out for the kitchen sink, and it must weigh 150 pounds! So tomorrow morning if the entire kit and kabootle is sitting down in the crawl space under the house, I'll know the extra weight was too much on the kitchen floor!
Tomorrow Ted begins laying tile on the walls behind the counters. He talked me in to this. I think it will be beautiful. TBear has exquisite taste when he's spending somebody else's money ha ha!
Jason was a total monkey today. He's trying to give Teddy a little peck on the cheek after giving him such a hard time all day. Ted is carrying 100 pounds of tile into the house and can't stop him. Those two are clowns. Jason is a year younger than Carmen - will be 38 on March 7... has been Ted's "right hand" for 21 years and both of these families are our neighbors close-by. We just love them.
The bookcase was put up behind the swing in the sun room today. Looks good, but I forgot to make a pic. Will do so later.
