Picking Up From December 19....

People have told Charles and me for years that we need to write a book. This past week would have been a possible best seller, but I don't know how we'd catalogue it... Drama? Love Story? Adventure? All of the above? One thing for sure - part of it would be deemed fiction because nobody would believe it. But that comes later in my "catching up"...

I'll begin with the 19th..... but before I do.... this is for Tish in Virginia. Carolyn DID go with a new blog site... and Carolyn when you read this, if you have Tish's email, please send her the address to your blog. If you don't, and tell me I can post it here, I'll be glad to do that, too. I am in "limbo" with blog spots at the moment and don't have this one fully set up (to show other people's blogs)... and Tish - you are sweet! Do you blog?

OK... the 19th....

I have to stop and remember .... Crazy Busy month.
Oh... OK.... we were heading out for NC for Mother's ...

Jonathan got some meds in, the dr. assured us that he would not be contagious around Mother, we believed him, even though Jonathan had a slight touch of pneumonia... (it had just begun)..... and the antibiotic was double strength. We talked him into waiting to drive over with the two cats.... so he did wait, got up at 3:30 on Friday morning and was in the marina parking lot about 3 hours later.

Charles and I hiked out and we got everyone settled - the three of us and Miss Friendly and Puss 'n Boots complete with their red Christmas scarves and hats and we were set to get on the road - and excited about it. Jonathan was feeling MUCH better after a couple of doses of med, too.

(Note: I do NOT spend "bucks" buying clothes for our cats. Yes, they have both been to "cat college" before we received them as gifts from Jessi, but I won't be found friviously spending money on clothes for them. I DID pick up two Santa stocking caps on sale for half price @ 50 cents each.... cut them up and made scarves and snipped the tops off with the pompom and constructed hats. They were fixed well enough for Santa's
approval (and that's saying a lot [laughing])... )

More on this adventure later and it DOES get better.... lunch is on the way to the boat via Mr. T who called saying "little ice balls are falling from the sky."
