Christmas and My Sister....

Yesterday while the guys were working away, I was tucked inside my bedroom/office in front of the gas logs. Jason worked all day on the living room/dining room floor. Ted and I talked and planned.

Anyway.... emailing with my sister is a trip without the luggage. First we're onto the next beach trip...plans change with the wind outside as to whether we're all going to be in one house or get two houses. I think we're getting one house again and leaving the dogs home. That's where we are TODAY, but what do I know? (I wisely stay out of it - life is too short)

I then receive an eee from her ("Are you in Nashville, Knoxville, Hendersonville or Charleston, heck who knows where your at anymore..? " ) wanting to exchange Christmas gifts. Dropped that years ago at her suggestion. Sassy thing.

Perfect timing, Debbie, I'm in Nashville in every TJ over there this past week and buy nothing. So now you're wanting to exchange gifts?

She goes, " Well yes, it would be nice since we aren't getting any younger and besides I saw something this week that I KNOW you'd like - but it's kinda pricey... OH - and do you have a buffet in your dining room? (I do NOT, does this mean you're buying me one? {seriously doubt it}) and Jim and me? Law, we don't need a thing... but a set of those nice sheets like you buy MaMa would be great - QUEEN size."

Now I'm no dummy, I can do the math.

So last night when CT and I went to Greenville to get some Stax baked Greek chicken we went on to TJ where I bought a joint gift for Debbie and Jim, my baby sister and adorable brother-in-law. I can hardly wait to see this 'pricey' gift she has in mind since I don't have a buffet (snicker).

I hear jingle bells and Santa's sleigh in the distance.....and maybe a yard sale in the Spring!
