Pooped!

It's so late! I'm so tired, and tooooo wired to get in bed right now. Besides, our temporary bed has been moved to our redone bedroom. We dared not bring the 4 poster down from the storage unit today because it was raining.... besides, we were buying carpet and getting it installed. We could have been McKale's N**avy. No paint samples to match carpeting to, and no bed clothing either. We went to two carpet places and came back home.... ran by the storage unit and picked up what we needed along with two of our oriental rugs, and headed for another carpet dealership. No go there. I could not believe the scant selection in these places and the prices. The economy has taken its toll on the carpet industry too.

Finally we found something, purchased it, and while Jonathan and his dad went in Wally W*orld, I walked in one of my favorite antique malls in the area. Saw the former owner of the Ginko Leaf - a little high end antique shop in Charleston who sold pillows for $900. Yep.... nine hundred, and people bought them, too. In all of the years I visited her shop (just liked to look and dream), I purchased one thing - a little candle by Manuel Canovas, that is the best smelling candle I've ever EVER come across. Her shop always smelled wonderful because she always had one of those candles burning. Anyway... expensive candle and I won't even post what I paid for that thing. Anyway, for whatever reason she is no longer in business and was working at the antique shop in Henersonville. I enjoyed looking - made one $9 purchase.

We went to eat tonight at Stax in G'ville. Favorite restaurant.... I was good on WW. Gotta stick with it.

Came home and set up the bedroom. CT fell in bed. I have sat up and dreamed about where we are going to put what, when the house is ready.

I'm ready to fall in bed. Have a ton of laundry to do tomorrow.
