I have my laptop BACK but it isn't 100% yet. DE*LL is calling me Sunday and Monday. They are good about that. (I'm an old pro with DE-LL on call. They like me.)
Seems as if I blogged on Sunday.... the DayStar Concert @ FBC.
On Monday, we worked around the house in Hendersonville, just cleaning around the kitchen - getting ready for Ted to begin work in there. I did laundry and packed to come back to the lake. On Monday night we went to the Greek place down in Traveler's Rest, SC. The food there is great. Jonathan went with us.
Tuesday we were up early. JET and I had to vote; Charles would vote in Tennessee. Jonathan and I arrived at the poles (Zirconia fire station) and had to wait in line about 10 minutes. He helped me vote since I didn't know all of the candidates. We got that done and came back to the house. Charles and I finished loading the car and left for TN.... beautiful drive back over with the cats. Ran in to get some groceries at the store, took the cats to Lakeshore, and came to the boat. Then CT left to go to Big Ridge School to vote - walked right in and did it. The people teased him saying they already knew his name, he didn't have to show his license. He told them he was coming to vote for Reagan-Obama-Hussein-McCain and they all cracked up.
I made a wonderful pot of Taco Soup and CT and I sat ourselves up for a long night. WRONG! I went to bed after the early announcement and missed the new President Elect's speech... missed Op*rah crying on the man's shoulder... missed the WHOLE DOGGONE THING! I am NOT happy with the outcome, but we'd better be praying for this man no matter WHO we voted for.
