We were up and hit the ground running. Jonathan was already at work, so we headed to Low**e's. "Lowe" and behold they were at the end of a huge plant sale... from 75% to 90% OFF regular price and there was shrubbery left and trees and I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!
Jonathan's place is in need of landscaping and this would be the perfect time to do it. We bought a load of Japanese Boxwoods - great big ones for $4.25 each (had been about $18 each)... bought two Japanese Maples - taller than me - for $8.50 each (had been $35.00 each), and a bunch of other things. We had over $250 worth of shrubbery and trees for $70. GOOD BUYS!
Shopped for doors....didn't find anything, but CT bought a cat door to go on the back door. We'll see. Learned afterward that cat or doggie doors cannot go in panneled doors. Duh. May have to put it in the wall of CT's office. I'm telling you, he loves those two cats. (Who wouldda ever thunk it??)
Jonathan got off of work and the three of us went to Stax for dinner. Their Greek baked chicken is to die for. Went to the pet store and bought collars for the cats.... ran by TJ M and then came back to the house.
