I'll admit. I was a little unsettled about leaving the house. So many changes have been made there and I am really enjoying the rennovation, though we still have a large project left do do in the house and another one nearly finished.... I'm enjoying to the max, what has been done.... But the closer we got to "departure", the more excited I got about being back on the boat. Would I still love it down on the dock or would I want to be back @ the house?
We left on Sunday afternoon - the car thermometer read 80-something degrees. The further west we drove the hotter it got and by the time we made it to Kville at nearly 6:30, it was 93 degrees. We could not believe it. Made it back to the boat at nearly 7 PM and it had cooled to 91. The boat had been closed up tight all summer... I didn't check the temp. on the inside - we opened it up and sat on the front deck until it cooled down, then turned the AC on and it was cool in no time.
We had planned nothing for din din but the pantry and refrigerator had plenty so we snacked and watched TV and watched the boats come and go..... CT looked @ me and said, "I am in hog heaven." Ditto. Me too.
