Back @ the Boat....

Boy was it hot down here when we arrived on the dock! But it was beautiful. Ran into Grant who was leaving his luxury liner 3 boats down from ours (his wife is a pediatrician.) He is a builder and had brought clients down and had taken them out on the boat. Their boat is strictly a family pleasure craft. Wanted to know why we hadn't been here all summer. They are the ones who set up church services down here during the summer months.... fine people. Grant's parents live on their houseboat here on the dock on the other end of the catwalk.

Came into the boat and doggone it was hotter than the equator. 100 degrees when I thought to check the thermometer (after we had opened the front and back doors)... I'm freezing as I type and too lazy to get up and turn the AC down.

A friend just messaged me and asked how my joint pain is doing.... it is strange to say the least. I've been eating Adv*il over the weekend at the house... and just took some for the second time today since we've been on the boat. Don't know what tomorrow will be like. I can say that I'm getting tired of looking like an old woman when I get out of the car and try to walk! Put myself on WW today so maybe if I can get a few pounds BACK off, I'll feel better. We will see.

Strange thing... a pontoon boat with about six people just came by our deck, cut the motor or idled it, and sat right here in front of our door looking in. That has never happened before. CT was in the "head" (toilet) and I wanted to close the drape... right in their face... but I didn't. They were there for so long, I wondered if they hadn't run out of gas.... so got up and asked CT to come out of the bathroom. When he did, they quickly went on by. Now what's that about?? Some people have a lot of nerve!

Charles has done office work tonight at the desk, and we've had FOX News on - how goomy can it get?.... nearly time for bed... glad to be back on the lake!
