Cool.... overcast, and we have not been near the hot tub this week... been too busy. We worked a little on our project - the Visible Woman model... It is so INTERESTING to see the different body parts and talk in elementary talk about them and try to answer Savannah's questions.
We were determined to stay at home because we've been on the run since Savannah has been here. Oh she has loved it because at every stop there is a little "shopping" to be done. That girl is IN to shopping!
She watched a lot of TV.... fav show is Sponge*bob.... but she wanted to know if we were going shopping and out to eat. (see???) We held off until supper time when Charles HAD to make a trip down to H. Depot to pick up a couple of boards he could not get at Lowe's*..... In fact, we were running so late getting to Greenville, we didn't have time to shop. Whew!
We went to Patrick*s - a little privately owned place that fixes a great hamburger and that's what Vanna ate for supper - that and french fries and drink.... and declared half way back up the mountain that she'd like to go to Patrick*s again because that burger was so good.
Came back to the house and had our showers. Then she and I sat on the sofa while she read aloud, three stories to me - we call them "fairy tales" and they are in a book that my dad gave to Carmen when Carmen was six years old. Note the pictures. Carmen wrote in the book also and Vannah was fascinated with that in addition to being fascinated with my dad's picture in the front of the book. Savannah is an excellent student - and she is an excellent reader. I just relaxed and enjoyed every word of it.
