Hard to believe JULY is already here! We always say the summer is gone when July 1 rolls around.
The week has been busy so far - I've been doing yet another assessment of "What do I need in this house and what can I live without?" ..... I can live without a LOT of stuff! So have been packing up more stuff that I've been holding on to.
A friend from TN wrote that she can't wait to see the house with all of your "'stuff".... Nope. Not much 'stuff'' in here now.
I have a dental appointment today. Dread it, though seeing that crew is like seeing good friends.
Charles is at the boat... he picked up the deck boat Monday. $1,100 later. Reminds me of the acronym for boat: Bring On Another Thousand. I have been trying to get him to sell that boat for .... 4 years now. It's too big for us. Maybe this will be the year.
Gotta go - much to do. Miss Summerlyn Brooke is coming back with her Papaw on Friday night for a two week stay with us. I have a list of projects a mile long for us to do - fun things like knitting a scarf (her request), weaving a basket (her request), baking (her request - she loves to get in the kitchen), making a mosaic flower pot (My suprise - and she is tickled pink)... and there's more. She also told me she's excited about seeing the house. The last time she was here, we were running through on our way to Charleston.... that was last summer. A LOT has changed around here since then.
