We're literally "on blink".... The computer screen is blinking... the motherboard must be like the human thyroid.... when "IT" gets messed up, a lot of things are out of whack..... but we're still here. I hope the mother board will hold out for this week.Church was good this morning. Great sermon, lots of greetings and several questions about "being back".... We aren't "back" yet. Trying to figure out what to do about that at this point. "When"...
We came home and I took a short nap. The guys went up on the mountain to work on the spring head a little because the flow of water was down. It's back now and fine.
Yesterday we worked our fingers to the bone.... and worked a little after church today.... gotta leave the inside of this house better than it was because Ted will be here working inside this week...
I ordered the vessel sink on Saturday for the
half bath. Should be here by the time we get back. It is a beautiful blue and white transferware. I think it will be fantastic in the bathroom on the antique cherry furniture piece that's going in there. Vessel sinks have been taken from the idea of the old bowl and pitcher used on wash stands that people used to bathe from. I find that interesting in this modern day in which we live... and the faucet is another story.We
"celebrated" the Super Bowl tonight.... Charles, Jonathan, me, and the cat. Charles had to have chicken wings for starters. Friendly cat was a scream. Took a little snooze with a James Patterson book as her pillow. We laughed and said, "Why would a cat who has been to cat-college NOT use a book for a pillow?" Both cats got new flea collars this weekend, just for the record.Jonathan is staying at the house while we're in Nashville. We've asked him to do that because there is so much coming and going in here right now. I hate to leave at this point.
5:00 will come early tomorrow morning. We have a meeting at lunchtime over there and a long drive ahead of us.
