Tuesday... Brrrrrrrr.....

First time my eyes opened this morning, it was 8:45! Surely the guys weren't in there working with me sound asleep!?! I noticed the lights weren't on so maybe they weren't coming to the house today. I usually know these things.

Decided to turn on the gas logs in the bedroom to knock off the chill and before I could walk across the floor, they were off and the pilot light was out. THAT was a little unnerving. I immediately thought that there had been an outside leak from when they worked on the line yesterday and we had lost a tank of propane. I called Ted. He and Jason were building my bookshelf in Ted's garage and the were about to leave and come to the house. I called Jonathan, got him out of bed. He came up here dressed for work. Got in the bedroom, turned them back on, and after a few minutes of fiddling with them, they were fine and have been all day. Boy was I happy! Jonathan also checked the fuel and we hadn't even used a half a tank. I was even happier.

The guys worked away tying up loose ends... putting up light fixtures... ceiling fan, painting, cleaning the floor, and then Ted left for the day - Jason stayed. I was falling asleep, so went into the bedroom and joined Queen Friendly Cat to take a nap..... wrapped up in an electric blanket, and slept. When I awakened, Jason was still in the kitchen area working - had the lights installed over the pot rack and said Ted came back to talk with me about the half bath... but Jason would not let him wake me up! (I had told Jason I was freezing and "old people get cold when it isn't cold"... bless his young heart!) Ted told Jason we'd talk tomorrow (LOL)...

Talked with Carmen for a while this afternoon, Jason called it a "day" and left, and I'm waiting for Jonathan to stop by from work. Talked with Charles several times... had a meeting with several school administrators @ the central office today - his old office.

He's at the boat tonight watching America*n I*dol season debut, and I'm in our living room in front of the gas logs with two cats watching America*n I*dol season debut..... well I see it's just one cat. Boots (above pic) is bored and asleep. He is a scream... sleeps flat on his back with front legs up in the air over his head. Miss Friendly is sharing the blanket with me as usual.
