Monday Mid-Day....

Charles made it back with the propane and escorted the Vermont Castings man in. Jonathan was here around 9:40 and is in the middle of the final demolition. Ted and I talked about what I want in the new half bath, I've vacuumed the carpet in the guest bedroom and we've pulled it up so Ted can work on that side of the wall, and there is a LOT of banging, sawing, and grunting going on around the house today.

I declare... I wish we hadn't move the living room/dining room furniture back in.... almost.... It is just tough being IN a house with all of the construction going on inside, at the same time. Story of our life. I really think we're at our best when we are in the middle of a remodel, and my thinker just reminded me that we're ALWAYS in the middle of a remodel so how would WE know what "normal" life is like???

Ted and Jason put the stove in the kitchen this morning.... also put an extra cabinet up on the wall beside of the microwave cabinet and it looks soooooo good! Also finished the grouting on the tile... looks fabulous. We SHOULD be able to "move" into the kitchen tonight. Still minus the 9" cabinet and crown molding.

Just checked on the V. Castings stove guy. The story is not looking good there - says we may have to have a new pilot assembly. If we do, we do - but that will delay us in there. It is always
SOMEthing.
