In some ways this week has seemed long - no Charles. He has done well in Nashville and hasn't left the hotel since he arrived. Slept really well and saved a bunch of money and gasoline (with me at home!)
Here at the house, there has been a lot of "activity" in the kitchen area but what has been accomplished isn't showing up big time at this point. I have to be patient. According to the counter top people, it takes 21 days and we're only about 7 days into it. Ted and Jason did get the hook up for the gas logs in the kitchen so will plan to install them on Monday.
I have been in a mountain of storage boxes today... Jonathan came up and we put a stack of boxes in the attic - completely catalogued and numbered.... but there are a TON of boxes to go and the guest bedroom has to be cleared out by Monday.
Today, I came across a big bag of clothing - had a January date of 1994 on the sticker. I opened it and was amazed to see clothes I had not worn in years. One of my favorite turtlenecks was in there. I have a pic that someone made of me holding Tyler at First Baptist when he was10 months old - and I was wearing that turtleneck. Ty is now 18. That turtleneck looks brand new. I was tickled, but I don't know where in the dickens that bag came from or where it's BEEN all of this time!
Back to work....
