I have a lot of "stuff" to catch up on and plan to do so. We're still in NC and loving every second of it... well ALMOST every second of it. Setting the house back up. Still no kitchen... still a LOT of work to do, but at least we have our dining room/great room back somewhat and I'm sitting here enjoying a beautiful fire in the new fireplace as I type.
Christmas Eve, Jonathan decided to spend the night up here with us. We didn't mind a bit. Before my feet could hit the floor on Christmas Morning (around 8:30), my stomach gave a lurch. I had the awful virus that put Luke in the hospital. I have not thrown up since Carmen (now 38) was 3 years old. After 2 days, I thought things were better and on the night of the 26th it started again. I lost 14 pounds in 2.5 days.
So that's why I haven't been online except for 5 minutes on the 26th to get a Polar Express post (previously written), actually posted.
It is so GOOD to be alive!
I'll post more later....... So far, Jonathan is OK and Charles is OK. Pray and cross your fingers (LOL).
