I'm sitting in my make-shift office in our bedroom - right here at the window, gas logs on, watching it snow this morning. Supposed to spit snow on and off in the early part of today. Fine with me!Charles got up, fed the cats, and made a short trip up to the Spring House. It's heated and we have all of the plants up there out of our way.
He was like a kid when he saw the snow coming down... "It's winter in the HILLS!!!"...I wonder if it's snowing @ the boat...? Was surely setting up for it when we left yesterday.
CT is making a trip to Low*es to get a fitting for the regulator on the huge propane tank. We used propane at the house on Lakeshore and loved it. Then he's coming by the Soci(al Secur*ity office in H'ville to sign up - eligible to draw in January. He couldn't believe it
was "time" as he was leaving the house this morning. Has called back to check in several times - ran into an old buddy retired from the school business at the Soc Sec. office - they bear hugged he said.Jonathan came up for a few minutes but had to get out the door for work.
I'm doing laundry and other than that, I've gotta find something to do. Projects all around me and I hardly know where to begin.
The cats seem to "know" that they aren't going back to Lakeshore (and don't think they care). They've settled in... fluffy beds, catnip, mouse toys that they play with, good food, and mama and papa cat (that would be Charles and me). We have a cat door for them... just have to get it installed somewhere - haven't decided exactly where, yet. Jonathan is in charge of them while we're working in TN and they love Jonathan.
