I just enjoyed the most delightful conversation with my good friend Verle in Bethalto, IL! He is 80+ years old and serves the Lord in more ways than I ever could in this lifetime. This gentleman is like the Energizer Bunny - He just keeps going! Is a marvel with electronics... works through the ministries of his So. Baptist Church, is a testimony to the fact that we are never too old to serve God, and I love him dearly.
I met him through writing for Open Windows. Have known him for awhile now, and wrote about him recently. We communicate regularly.
