I'm so glad that God is my judge and not overly judgmental people who know little about me and don't have all of the facts to begin with!
On a brighter note, I had an opportunity to witness to someone where I am today.... awesome privilege! This person does not go to church... believes "in the Man upstairs".... but used to go to church regularly until he/she got sick of people who call themselves Christians. Yep... I understand. I reminded that person that I am one of "'those people". But it isn't enough to just "believe in the Man upstairs", I told them. I also stressed that the church is FULL of sinners, hypocrites, and none of us do what we're supposed to do all the time, but thank the Lord, there is a gracious forgiving loving Savior who delights to forgive.
Forget "self-righteous" people who call themselves Christians and point judgmental fingers at people in tackless ways. That gets my ire up. Be gracious and kind even in criticism. I tend to run from people who are the other way! Don't get me started.
