We LOVE traveling on Mondays... not a lot of traffic on the road, and we like to think everyone else is at work and we're not (laughing)...

The past several days at the house have been great. We've had lots to do, but things are taking shape to the point where we are enjoying the process now.

Charles has worked on the 3rd bedroom/office... painting... and I've been doing various things plus washing clothes and getting up packed back up to come back to the boat.

Yesterday afternoon I went out on the deck and uncovered the hot tub to check on it. YUCK! The water was cloudy and it stunk! Now you just have to know me.... I cannot STAND stuff like that. No self-respecting germ DARES to mess with my hot tub water. Jonathan and I had the water draining out of that thing in no time flat! I've paid no attention to it for over 2 weeks... have not touched it. I know better.

We have never had murky water in the hot tub in the 7 summers we've had it. Anyway... CT got up this morning and baled out the remainder of the water, cleaned the sides (they weren't slimy, thankfully), and then we filled it back up - 300 gallons of fresh mountain spring water! I called Hot Springs and they told me how much of which chemical to add to start it back up. We left the house with a sparkling clean hot tub - I'll do better!
