I could live full time on a houseboat, but it would have to be bigger than ours, obviously.... but it probably won't ever happen. I love being on this boat!
This pic shows our big view looking left toward the marina store. Vern's huge houseboat that they live on full-time, is now on the other side of the dock... so his old space is now inhabited by the pontoon boat of people who don't have a houseboat here right now (they sold it a few months ago), but want to hold on to the dock space. We're still in a space crunch, in that there are still no houseboat spaces anywhere on this lake - 20+ marinas, 800 miles of shore line... huge lake, lots of marinas, no space to be had.
Another school year has begun for Charles. He went to Gibbs on Wed. and immediately ran into people he knew or who knew him. Had a fantastic "first day" with them - they were excited that he was their EE (exemplary educator) this year. He is at Campbell today - old hat, and they met their goals so well the system requested to have him back. So he's 'set' for another year and is loving it.
Jonathan is at the house with the cat. Miss Friendly can't be left on her own of course and Joanthan just loves that cat, so he's "cat-sitting" and has agreed to do that whenever I come with Charles to Tennessee. Good set-up all the way around.
