Again.....

Last night I was outnumbered.... Charles wanted Mexi**can and Jonathan wanted to go to the restaurant in Tryon, N.C. - a trip down the mountain to one of the cutest little village-towns in Western NC.

We were there in the "glory days" when the restaurants were fantastic and the shops drew people from all over. The first time I ever saw Tryon was at Christmas time... We got to the main interesection where the horse has stood for decades, just in time to see a cute little Mercedes turn the corner with a big green Christmas wreath attached to the front grill. The town was just as charming. I had a business there before it was over, from which I taught many many basket classes. Nancy W**elch and I promoted instruction books that I had written on her TV show, and we did it in the little Town of Tryon through a little shop that is no longer there called the Iron Horse*Guild.... so it was a trip down memory lane with some fantastic memories.

We ate the "fare" there last evening against my better judgment. I had eaten M*exican in Greenville, SC on Christmas Eve......then was terribly ill the next morning with that mega virus.

This morning is hardly any different..... stomach took a lurch around 7:30 and I can't stay out of the bathroom. Initially thought I'd picked up something on the Polar Express last time but maybe I picked it up the night we went Me(*xican..... I don't know, but I DO know that I'm not going back to the lake today. Charles decided that he'd go back and work the first part of the week and come back mid-week. This isn't as BAD as it was Christmas day or I wouldn't be up blogging.... but it isn't good!

Not sure I'll ever want to dine in a Me*xican restaurant again.

I'm going back to bed!
