The rain just poured today. I sat here and watched it and emailed back and forth with Debbie, my sister, and at the same time talked with Carmen on the phone. Those two gals are busy as bees searching out some accommodations for another beach trip next fall. Tickles me.We bought a dishwasher today... one more appliance out of the way. Jonathan sent pictures last night and things are shaping up. Charles and I will travel, Lord willing, to Hendersonville tomorrow. We hope to have our bedroom set up before we have to leave next week to come back to the lake. That will be a LOT to accomplish.
I cleaned out a closet on the boat - thrill - couldn't believe what we had stuffed into that closet! Am taking a load back to the house that we can do without here at the boat.
I baked acorn squash and grilled h'burger steak and fixed tossed salad for tonight's meal. It was yummy good. John D. called and we talked for awhile, catching me up on things.
I plan to pack up some more stuff to take back to NC tomorrow. I STILL have too much on this boat.
Took this pic of a tiny little boat going out by us this afternoon. Older couple - older than Charles and me by 20 years or more. Sweet. I wondered what ever possessed them at their age to get out on this lake in such weather and at this late hour.
